Millions of illicit cigarettes seized in UK crackdown
A year-long crackdown has seen over 33 million illicit cigarettes and 800kg of hand-rolling tobacco seized across the UK. The operation, a joint effort by National Trading Standards and HMRC, has also resulted in £3.5 million in penalties against retailers.
