Swimple operates in a similar fashion to accommodation sharing platforms, allowing users to reserve a private pool for a set period at a fixed price. MyLondon reported that while the US‑based Swimply service has over 15,000 pools and four million users, it is not yet active in the UK. Swimple, however, is available in London and currently shows a limited number of pools for hire.

The app lists a private swim spa in a garden in Bromley that costs £70 per hour and accommodates up to six swimmers. It also shows an indoor saltwater pool in Cheam priced at £60 per hour for up to eight people. MyLondon added that a few other pools are listed in Kent and Surrey, ranging from secluded garden settings to indoor gym and spa facilities.
