The show, which features Willoughby preparing food with a guest in her home kitchen, aims to present a more personal side to the presenter. The first episode premiered with actor Stanley Tucci as the invited guest.
Show Format and Content
Each episode of Holly Willoughby Together is expected to follow a format where Willoughby cooks a dish alongside a guest. The programme's duration is approximately 45 minutes. The initial instalment saw Tucci join Willoughby in her kitchen, preparing a courgette pasta dish. Reports indicate that Tucci read his own interview questions from spoons during the segment, a role typically fulfilled by the host.

Council attributes initial high figures to low testing volumes, not a borough-wide surge.
The show's presentation has been compared to Meghan Markle's YouTube series, With Love, Meghan, due to its curated style. However, critics suggest Willoughby's show is less intensely controlled. The programme includes conversational segments with the crew and discussions about lifestyle topics, alongside the cooking demonstrations.
Background and Context
Willoughby's move to YouTube follows her departure from the television programme This Morning. Her time on the show concluded amidst public attention regarding the Phillip Schofield controversy. Prior to this new venture, Willoughby was noted as the highest-paid woman on British television between 2018 and 2021.

The Guardian reported that the show's format, while safe, allows Willoughby to engage in spontaneous interactions. Moments highlighted as successful included her playful exchanges with Tucci, such as teasing him about using microwavable meals. The publication suggested that the show could find its audience if it sustains these more natural moments and potentially tightens its runtime.
