Selekt Chicken, located on North End Road in Fulham, has been granted a six-month licence allowing it to operate until 11pm from Sunday to Wednesday and until 11:30pm from Thursday to Saturday. This decision follows an application for extended hours, which initially proposed opening until 1am on weekends.

The licence was ultimately granted with several conditions. These include the requirement for two litter picks to be conducted each day and the prominent display of signs encouraging customers to dispose of their waste responsibly in litter bins. The licence's six-month duration means the premises will need to reapply for any further extensions.

The manager of Selekt Chicken had previously stated that extended hours were important for business operations, allowing for effective cleaning, stock management, and reduction of food waste, noting the financial impact of current restrictions. However, the committee expressed surprise at the applicant's expectation of only a couple of deliveries in the final hour of operation, given the area's sensitive nature.
