Euston Station Sexual Assaulter Jailed

Obinwa Obichukwu, 45, has been sentenced to two years in prison for sexual assault. The attacks took place at Euston station on the evening of August 20, 2023. Obichukwu was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault in January and received his sentence at Inner London Crown Court on July 21.

Details of the Assault

The court heard that Obichukwu approached a lone woman at the station, initiating a conversation before putting his arm around her. He followed her down an escalator and committed the assaults. Obichukwu maintained that the attacks were consensual, but a jury found him guilty. British Transport Police arrested Obichukwu at his Hertfordshire home.
