Claridge’s Ranked Among World’s Top Luxury Hotels

Claridge’s, the well-known Mayfair hotel, has been recognised in Robb Report’s annual ranking of the world’s greatest luxury hotels. The establishment secured the seventh position on the list of 50 hotels. This represents a decrease of four places from its standing in the previous year’s report, as noted by Time Out London.

The luxury lifestyle guide Robb Report described Claridge’s as offering 'formal but effortless service in a building that reeks of history, buzzy restaurants and bars plus rooms with a reassuring whiff of Victoriana that subtly nods to Britain’s heyday'. Time Out London also recently declared Claridge’s the best hotel in London.

A History of High Rankings

In the past, Claridge’s has held the number one spot on Robb Report’s esteemed list. The hotel, which has welcomed royalty and celebrities for over two centuries, features 269 rooms. Guests who have stayed at the hotel include Kate Moss and Queen Elizabeth II, according to Time Out London.

The hotel introduced a new dining and drinking venue, Dante Mayfair, in mid-June 2026. This New York-based establishment launched as a permanent fixture following a successful period as a temporary feature. Claridge’s also offers other dining options, including the Foyer and Reading Room for afternoon tea, the Fumoir bar, and an intimate chef’s table experience called L’Epicure.
