Content creator Amelia Dimoldenberg is launching the second year of her Dimz Inc. Academy, extending the programme from one week to four. The initiative is designed to provide training and support for individuals aged 18-24, with a focus on helping them enter the creative industries. A key feature of the academy is the guarantee of paid work placements for participants.
Dimoldenberg stated that the academy was established to give back to young people, drawing on her own experiences. She explained that the connections and mentoring she received when starting out were crucial for her career. The initiative addresses the issue of young people not in employment, education, or training, which she described as a significant crisis.

Council attributes initial high figures to low testing volumes, not a borough-wide surge.
When asked about inviting Prime Minister Andy Burnham on her YouTube series, Chicken Shop Date, Dimoldenberg indicated he was not her preferred guest for the show, stating, "I don't think that maybe he's my type for Chicken Shop Date." However, she expressed openness to discussing his work on youth unemployment, saying she would "100% love to have a conversation with him" on the matter.
Dimoldenberg views collaborations with social media influencers as a positive development, noting that many people now access news through these platforms. She believes this approach does not necessarily mean politicians will exclusively engage with vloggers.
