FA bans concrete pitch walls after Finchley player death

Following the fatal collision of 21‑year‑old Billy Vigar with a concrete wall at Wingate & Finchley FC, the Football Association has revised its stadium accreditation standards. Clubs must now remove or pad solid barriers, and the FA and Premier League will fund the work.
