Rolls-Royce and BAE Systems raise profit forecasts

Rolls-Royce has raised its 2024 profit forecast to between £4.7bn and £4.9bn, while BAE Systems upgraded its profit outlook to a 10-12% rise. Both companies cited increased government spending on defence systems as the primary driver for the improved financial guidance.
