Port of Dover protest blocks all routes, A20 delays reach 45 minutes

A protest at the Port of Dover on 5 September 2026 saw all entry and exit routes blocked, creating four miles of A20 congestion and delays of up to 45 minutes. Kent Police are on scene, the port confirmed a public order incident and MP Mike Tapp condemned the disruption.
