Transport for London is proposing to revive the West London Orbital line, a service that has not carried passengers for over a century. The new route, running between Hounslow and Hendon, is expected to use existing freight lines and could be operational by the mid-2030s.

WorldPiccadilly Line and Overground Face Weekend Closures
Passengers travelling to Heathrow Airport and using sections of the Overground face significant disruption this weekend. The Piccadilly line will be closed between Cockfosters and Heathrow Airport on August 1-2, with no Night Tube service on July 31-August 1. Network Rail maintenance will also impact several Overground lines.
