Beaver kits born in Scottish Highlands for first time in 400 years

At least two beaver kits have been born in Glen Affric, Scottish Highlands, the first such births in the area in 400 years. The kits were born following a reintroduction project by Trees for Life and Forestry and Land Scotland. Beavers were released in October 2025 and February.
