New tech tackles sticky problem in paper recycling

Non-recyclable adhesives, known as 'stickies', contaminate paper recycling. German companies are pioneering laser and ultrasonic sealing technologies, alongside new cold seal solutions, to create fully recyclable paper packaging, especially for food products, ahead of strict EU targets.
