Building safety chief reflects on Grenfell failures

Andy Roe, chairman of the Building Safety Regulator, described the Grenfell Tower fire as a 'total system failure' involving all institutions. He stated that nearly 70% of the UK's high-rise buildings are in London, with 192 currently undergoing remediation. The BSR plans a more rigorous enforcement policy for next year.
