Barnet renters could save £199 a month if housing targets met

The Centre for British Progress report estimates that if the government reaches its housebuilding targets, Barnet renters could see their monthly rent fall by £199. The analysis links a 2.3% annual rise in housing stock to a 9.7% rent drop over five years and predicts a sharp fall in temporary accommodation.
