Noah’s Ark Hospice launches £1m appeal with Barnet councillors’ backing
Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice in Barnet has begun a £1 million fundraising drive, From That Moment, running until 12 October 2026. Barnet councillors and the Deputy Mayor of London for Children and Families attended the launch. The hospice needs £7 million annually and relies on donations for 76% of its income.

Weekly mindfulness drop-in starts at St Mark’s Hall, Barnet
A new weekly mindfulness meditation drop-in has begun at St Mark’s Hall in Barnet, offering sessions every Thursday from 6.15 pm to 7.15 pm. The secular classes, led by Barnet-based teacher Ruth McDonald, cost £5 or £10 by donation and are open to all levels, with an online option available.
