Brent Cross regeneration scheme advances with new plans

Barnet Council has received a new planning application as part of the ongoing Brent Cross Cricklewood regeneration scheme. The submission concerns drainage and flood storage details for Phase 5E of the large-scale development in north-west London.

In addition to the major regeneration project, Barnet Council received a variety of other planning applications this week. These included proposals for residential extensions, alterations to existing properties, and works to trees across the borough. The applications were logged on the Public Notice Portal.

Among the submitted plans are applications for single-storey rear extensions at 12 Brentmead Place, 54 Ferney Road, and 12 Ingleway. Conversions of garages into habitable rooms were proposed at 9 Basing Hill and 28 Endersleigh Gardens. Several applications also detail roof extensions, including hip-to-gable conversions and dormer windows, at properties such as 27 Sherrards Way and 22 Woodfall Avenue.

Further residential development proposals include the sub-division of a dwelling to create two self-contained flats at 97 Park Road. At Revelstroke, 28 Totteridge Village, plans were submitted for the construction of a swimming pool with associated landscaping, following the demolition of an existing shed. Another application at 125 Park Road outlines a single-storey side/rear extension with a garage, a roof extension with a rear dormer, and front rooflights.

Tree Works and Other Applications

Several applications related to tree works were also submitted to the council. These include requests for the removal of trees, crown reductions, and pruning for building clearance at various locations. Specific applications detail tree works at Guillemot Court, The Thomas Watson Cottage Homes, and Tree View on Winnington Road.

Other submissions include applications for the enlargement of basement storage at 196 High Street, Barnet, and the installation of new antennas and associated works at Britannia House and two locations on Railway Embankment Trackside in London N20.
