Vue Cinema at the O2 Centre on Finchley Road has reopened with six newly refurbished screens, offering upgraded seating and projection technology. The venue, located in Golders Green, now features Lux and Ultra Lux seating options, along with Laser by Barco projection for improved picture quality. Once the remaining six screens are refurbished, the entire venue will close temporarily to complete final works. This includes transforming the foyer into Vue Your Way, a self-service retail space where customers can customise snacks and order hot food, such as stone-baked pizzas and chicken tenders. Vue staff will assist at self-service stations.

What happens next
The full refurbishment is expected to be completed in autumn 2024. Residents can visit the cinema now to experience the upgraded screens, but should expect temporary closures later in the year. Vue has not confirmed exact dates for the final closure period.
